Did you buy this as a new one or second hand ?

Original specification is:

Product: ThinkPad T41 2373-7FG

It should come only with CD burner/DVD reader (as well as mine T40p).

Maybe it was added as an option when bought. By the specifiaction based on the model code it should not be here, but would I prefer to have it too

No idea. Maybe the original owner just went to the shop and said "I want this ThinkPad, but can you add a DVD-RW drive into it ?". And they did it :D

I am quite happy with my DVD/CD-RW cause I can burn the DVDs if necessary on my desktop PC. But sometimes when I am at home it's useful to have this possibility too. Anyway, I can live without it as well. GPU is quite good, better than I expected. As i already told in some different post here on the forum I am from time to time playing the World Of Warcraft on my ThinkPad and it seem to have no problem to handle it. Only the heat production is increased, but not dramatically.
