SOLD!T43, 15" SXGA+ IPS. well-worn, runs great,

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Mon Dec 08, 2008 11:39 am

the basics:

ThinkPad T43 2687-D4U

Original description:
P M 750
512MB RAM...........................now 1GB (2x512MB)
40GB 5400rpm HDD...............now 40GB/4200rpm
15 SXGA+(1400x1050) TFT LCD
64MB ATI Radeon X300
24x24x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD
Intel 802.11a/b/g wireless(MPCI)
Modem(CDC)
1Gb Ethernet(LOM)
UltraNav
Secure Chip
6 cell Li-Ion battery...................9-cell in red, about 90 minutes runtime
WinXP Pro

imperfections/caveats:

- wear and sticker residue on the lid
- normal shine (no worn letters) on the keyboard
- LCD is reddish for a few seconds on initial boot, but clears quickly, there is also one dark pressure mark on it.
- COA is illegible (XP Pro)
- Warranty has expired

This has been my "around the house" machine for the last few months, and I hate to see it go, but have to make space for the new stuff coming in...if you need a T4x as a viable restoration project, or just one to carry around without paying too much attention to it, this one may just fit the bill...

Asking $250 shipped to lower 48 states, will ship worldwide if so desired and paid for.

Feel free to PM me for high-resolution pictures, or with any questions/concerns that you might have.

YGPM
T30 2366-61U dead mobo
T30 2366-81U still works but not being currently used. I think I'll rectify that situation.
T40 2373-19U dead
(2) T42 2373-JXU with Flexview LCDs. One with either GPU or southbridge issue.
T43 2687-D4U with possible software problem. Awaiting R&Rs.
