X60S: lcd replacement with other lcd screen

hallo,
i broke my X60S lcd assembly and cable...i saw something on ebay and they sell at very expensive price ;but it isn't so for X2x and X3x lcd !!! :shock:
so is it possible replace a X60S lcd with a XGA 12,1 of X2x or X3x lcd? and what about for the lcd cable? if it is not possible..why?
how can i replace without selling home? :lol:

sorry, but no way...
the pin settings amongst other things , of your x60 display to the older ones are totally different

my best bet for a compatible lcd would be blisscomputers at ebay, a.k.a. user "browngranite"
