T4x Battery Compatibility

How critical is the battery compatibility published by Lenovo?

Specifically, I'd like to use the 08k8198 9 cell battery from my T41 on a T43 I just got.

The Lenovo site does not show this a compatible with the T43 (just T41 and T42) but does seem physically compatible. Am I risking fire, explosion, or TP meltdown by using this battery?

Voltage is the same as my current 6 cell battery.
