You are KIDDING me, right? We specifically came from Mexico to the US to stock up, visit family (annual visit) and buy Thinkpads for the family and we could have stayed at home in the WARM and out of the FROZEN and purchased a T60????? I'm speechless!!!! :)
T30 2366-61U dead mobo
T30 2366-81U still works but not being currently used. I think I'll rectify that situation.
T40 2373-19U dead
(2) T42 2373-JXU with Flexview LCDs. One with either GPU or southbridge issue.
T43 2687-D4U with possible software problem. Awaiting R&Rs.

Well, "Location" might be a bit misleading... all 3 laptops are here in VA. That is just where the laptops were purchased from...

but yes, I guess they sold T60s in Mexico :)

Oh, that's better then. I thought it was located in Mexico and you were looking to sell to a Mexican audience (I think there are two of us here).

At first I though that you were selling a T60, which is 2xT30... And I thought - he's got the math down!

But pricewise, a T60 is much more than 2xT30 these days. ;)

BTW, why do you advertise the T2500 as 1.93GHz? It should be 2GHz fair and square.

re: the T30... how do I check the RAM slots?

re: the 1.93 ghz... I looked that up somewhere. Didn't know the difference :)

Also, I'm accepting offers as I am out of touch as to Thinkpad prices right now...

The only way to test is to try a single stick, and test it in both RAM slots. The slot towards the front of the PC had a tendency to go bad.

I tested the RAM in both slots and set the POST to diagnostic mode. Upon bootup, the RAM tested fine in both slots.

I also realized the computer has 512MB of RAM and not the standard 256MB.

T30 sold.

The T60s are still available. I also have a new Hitachi 320GB 7200rpm drive I can offer as an upgrade. I currently have it installed in T60 #1 and am trying out the Windows 7 beta :)
