600E user guide? battery life?

#1 Post by albion » Sat Jan 15, 2005 3:54 pm

Greetings,
I have acquired a 600E without any documentation and have yet to find any reference to a user guide on the web. Surely there must be somewhere to explain all the function keys and why that extra key below the left/right mouse keys?
I had about 20 minutes battery life so bought a new battery - still only get 20 mins - surely that is not nomal?

Battery Live

As for the battery life, I got my 600E used about a year ago, it has a bunch of memory (29x meg) and a few other options, The main battery was brand new just prior to my buying it, I get about 4 hours runnign win-98se (Much more in DOS) I'd say you need a new battery.

Mine came with a ultra bay battery too, (I now have 4 options for the ultra bay A: D:CD D:zip-100 and battery)

Very nice machine... If installing win-98se read this forum first
