SOLD: Gorgeous T23

#1 Post by NorrisCell » Tue Dec 16, 2008 6:47 pm

T23 2647-4NU

Original Description:
PIII-M 1.13GHz (512KB)
128MB RAM - Now 640 MB (1 X 512MB + 1 X 128MB)
30.0GB HDD - Now 40 GB 4200 RPM. No errors.
14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD - Bright and clear, no dead pixels
8X-3.3X DVD-ROM
802.11b wireless(MPCI)
Modem(MPCI)
Ethernet(CDC)
TV out
Li-Ion battery - See below
Win 2000 - Installed and configured. COA is intact

This is part of a group I restored and is easily the nicest of that group in terms of both features and condition. The screen has no visible blemishes. The casing has the normal light wear on the lid from a carrying bag, but no cracks. There is one small (Less than one inch) surface scratch on the right side of the palmrest, which is visible in the pictures. The keyboard looks almost brand new, with very minimal shine.

Buyer has their choice of battery. I have one excellent condition one, for which NHC shows 95% of original charge capacity and lasts 2+ hrs depending on usage. If this laptop will spend most of it's time on AC power, I also have a battery on its last leg if someone wishes to save some money. The dying battery shows 55% wear level in NHC, but will not charge past 11%. It's good for about 15 minutes of juice on a "full" charge.

AC adapter is not included, but can be added for $8.

Buyer has their choice of shipping methods. $10 for USPS Priority Mail or $14 for UPS ground within the US.

Win 2K is currently installed and configured. I can also install Ubuntu or Mint in place of Windows at the buyer's request

$140 + shipping with the dying battery
$160 + shipping with the good battery

On the way as we speak.

Also, description has been updated. There is one small surface scratch on the palmrest, and the good battery is even better than I thought.

Sorry for hijacking your thread.
That T23 (2647-9SU) is a rare bird indeed, fit only for the 'boss'.
Hence I haven't offered it to you common mortals.
