Disable onboard sound on T41?

I've shut every PCI function off in the BIOS...Does nothing.

My onboard sound is conflicting with the sound card I have in my Dock II, and I need the sound card in my Dock II, as the ThinkPad itself does not have enough output channels.

Does anyone know how to disable this dang thing? Short of prying the AD198* off of the mainboard?

Disable in Device Manager ? :wink:

How about if you just uninstall the soundcard driver?

That has no effect on the card in the Dock II.
