Hi guys,
I'm going to upgrade my original IBM Travelstar (FAT32) to a new Hitachi Travelstar 7K100GB ATA-6 using Ultraslim Bay 05K5338 HDD adapter.
I will be cloning with Casper 5.0. It recommends to use NTFS instead of FAT. Which format should I select?
I have a 600X (26459FU), 650mhz, WIN2K, 576 RAM. I want to keep things simple and compatible with my previous back-ups.
What are the pros and cons?
Thanks for any advice and suggestions.

Use the same format that your current drive is using
If you are currently using Windows 2000 (My personal favorite Windows operating system), and you are doing a disk image of your current drive, most likely your main drive is formated for NTFS that is the WIN2k preference.
So basically what ever your current drive that you want to do the image of should be matched on the new drive.
Hope this helps (and makes sense).
Thanks
