T42 Recovery Disks On an R40

#1 Post by JLai » Sun Jan 16, 2005 12:19 pm

I was wondering if I could use my T42 recovery disks on my friend's R40 for a full IBM system install. I didn't see a "make recovery CDs" shortcut on hers where mine were located. Anyone know where I can get or make a set?

Thanx ahead.

I think you probably can. My T40/41 disks also say R series too.

Nice...I'll take a look at my CDs tonight to make sure they say the same.

My T42 Recovery CDs say they're also for an R50s series...I need some for an R40. Any other suggestions? :(
