Did Lenovo ever fix the Thinkpad light from blinding the user?

Yes, they added some groves in the plastic to prevent it from reflecting at your eyes. Mine works great!

Between the light and the keyboard issue, I wasn't going to drop $3k on a W500. Glad Lenovo stepped up to fix both.

Not to be too OT, but how was Lenovo fixed the keyboard issue? Are they still only substituting T61 keyboards to the more vocal customers?
