Returned X200t because of fuzzy screen

I come from a T60p with a Flexview screen. I had many IBM's with Flexview and TN screens since 2000. The screen is the most important item on the laptop for me. Then the keyboard.
The T60p is almost perfect, however I was looking for something smaller. I skipped the x200(s) since I preferred (at least I thought to prefer) the new tablet 'Flexview' screen. I was wrong...

Last week I bought the x200 Tablet with a LED MultiTouch and Multiview screen. I had high expectations however I was very disappointed about the screen. It was very very fuzzy. I think it has something to do with the Multitouch layer. If you look at the wrong angle you think your eyesight is completely gone. I returned it...

Question: Is there someone out there who has experience with the Multitouch and NON Multitouch (frameless) version?

That is my biggest fear too, giving up my Flexview´s T42p for a worse screen.
I think the X200 tablets are supposed to be the best screen available nowadays (reason why i am going after the tablet) but comments like yours are really frighting me a lot. Maybe i should wait another year....

I had a chance over the weekend to play with a friend's x200t with Multi-Touch/Multi-view screen. I didn't think it was fuzzy at all. I had them compared side-by-side with an x300.

1. Screen was of course not as bright as x300 due to spec difference (230 nits VS 300 nits). To quantify, x200t at full brightness level is more like x300 with 2 to 3 notches down.

2. Viewing angle was again of course much, much better than x300. Viewed from top-down and left-right, the images never got inverted colors. However, as the viewing angle widened, the screen did look a little washed out, maybe this was what jkooman felt to be fuzzy. In my opinion, it wasn't horrible and the colors stayed true.

Aside from the images being slightly washed out from extreme viewing angles, I didn't really had much of a complaint about the Multi-Touch/Multi-View screen though. But again I guess it really depends on a more personal feel.

I know this wasn't a comparison with other x200t, but on the CCFL version with the brightness only at 185 nits, I can hardly imagine it being any better than the old x61t's 150 nits. I personally cares more about screen's brightness, and I simply couldn't stand it being not bright enough. If you're looking for a real good screen on the x200t, I guess the LED version (brightness at 285 nits) with non-touch screen is your best bet.
