Help - not sure if HD, memory, or graphics card is causing..

I have two IBM laptops - a T40P and an newer X61 Tablet. I am trying to stream video from my Beyond TV client Desktop back to my X61 tablet. For some reason, the video is choppy. I ruled out the LAN because my underpowered (worse video card, 512mg RAM) can run it fine. I am also running a wired gigabit LAN. Something is wrong with this X61 but not sure what it is.

Anyone recommend any diagnostics to see if the graphics card, memory, or Hard Drive is the culprit? Any suggestions? Thank you, any help would be appreciated.

It is most likely a software issue. What are the specs on the X61t? Which OS would help too.

Also check to see if the network card on the X61t is operating properly. A big file transfer of some sort, to see how fast it is compared to the other machine.

Windows Vista Business with 2gb of ram.

I downlaoded an 8gb file in about 4 minutes.
