r51 system update problem

r51 system update problem

Have R51 1836-BBU running XP. Have reinstalled all original software from partition. I downloaded SystemUpdate 3 frome the IBM site and installed it. When it is run it quits at about 33% and gives an error 92 message. Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks.

It's a problem with the update server/s or the MS .net framework.

Thanks Harry. Found the MS net software buried on the Lenovo site and used the install/repair function. All systems are go for now. Again, many thanks.
