how to change background in windows photo gallery?
i don't see any options to personalize that little program...

I don't think it is possible. Windows photo gallery is a VERY basic photo program. Can't do much except view and print photos.
I have finally rejoined the dark side.
ThinkPad T450s, Core i7 5600u, 12GB RAM, Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD.

i finally found an answer to that -fast picture viewer. looks exactly the same as windows photo gallery but its background is black and wayyyyyyy faster.
