How to boot from CD on a 365XD

#1 Post by mi-oldradios » Sat Jun 05, 2004 4:30 am

I have a 365XD that I wish to boot from the CD as I do in newer equipment. Can this be done with this model? How? When I go to setup it doesn't know the CD drive is there but I can use it when in Windows. Guess I'm missing something.
Thanks

i'm not familiar with your model, but if the bios doesn't allow this you can use an ibm diskmanager overlay. i have posted the ibm diskmanager 9.57 on driverguide.com which will do what you want. search on hard drive - ibm. note this utility will only work if you have an ibm hard drive.

good luck!

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try and let you know how it worked.
