Backup with a Bootable IBM Rapid Restore Ultra 4.0 ?

I used to do full hdd image backups with Norton Ghost using its bootable diskette.

Is there similar way with Rapid Restore using the Access IBM environment activated during system boot ? I know I can do backup from Windows but I don't believe such backup while the system is running (and files can get modified during the backup). I have R51 and use external USB drive if it matters.
