Hi everyone,
My X40 won't power up anymore. When I press the button to turn it on, the battery light turns on (yellow) for a split second and then turns off. The battery is fully charged and the power adapter is fine. I turned it on this morning and it worked but after I shut it down, it's not powering up anymore.
The last time this happened was a few weeks ago and that that time I noticed that a little black strip where the battery is located (looks like it connects the battery area to the LCD screen area) got loose so I was able to put it back and fix it. But this time, this area looks fine.
Any ideas on what I can try? I'd rather not send it out for repair because as everyone knows, these laptops aren't really work that much anyway.
RVD.
my x40 won't power up anymore!
