So, is your budget still $500 or less?

Please make sure that future bumps of your thread happen every 72 hours as stated in the Marketplace rules:

http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=17028

Even though that thread revolves around For Sale ads, it's safe to say that such bumping rules could apply to Wanted to Buy ads as well.

If you are still looking for an 15.0" 4:3 LCD UXGA FlexView/IPS T60p, have a look at this. I honestly don't believe you will find anything like that at a lower price...

In reply to these questions which I asked the seller a while ago:
1. What is the exact model/type? (the seven-figure label at the bottom, e.g. saying 2623-QPG).
2. What is the serial number (a six-figure number also on the label at the bottom). This information is needed to check if the Lenovo-warranty can be extended.
3. Does the LCD have any dead or stuck pixels? (check using the free program http://www.laptopshowcase.co.uk/downloads.php?id=1)
4. Does the LCD have any scratches, pressure marks, white or dark areas, any light leakage from edges (light bleeding), any dust or hairs behind the glass?
5. How many charging-cycles does the battery have?
6. Does the laptop have ANY issues, or is it simply working perfectly?
7. Is this laptop in MINT cosmetic condition or does it have any scratches, broken-off parts or the like?
8. Is the "Rescue & Recovery" partition on the HDD intact?
9. Is the Windows Vista COA sticker intact at the bottom?
...these were the sellers replies:
2632-DDU
L3-D4110 i think i got the right #not sure there is a lot of # on the bottom
I tested & their is no dead pixels
it is in mint shape nothing broken
it is a windows xp coa
vista is a download version from Microsoft and was pre coded no other software
(CD's) are included
it works great it just don't have a power supply(ac Adapter)
no light bleeding
yes the laptop in MINT cosmetic condition
Although the seller have said it to be a "2632-DDU" I really believe that it is a 2623-DDU which is even covered by warranty until 2009-08-14 (and this warranty which may even be extended for another two years for $150). Note that it was reduced from $700 a while ago (see this listing) to now only $625,- plus shipping... so the price reduction is really not that amazing... (and, no, I have no connection with this seller).

This is certainly a very good price, if it works out. However this machine, seems to have been offered and sold a couple of times before. Besides the earlier listing you cited, there is this listing, where the machine was apparently sold for $550 and what seems to be the OP of this thread asking about an even earlier listing of that computer.

Here is a notification I got from her when I inquired as to why the item was relisted the first time- she forwarded apparently Ebay's message to her-

Hello phoebe_halliwells_place (phoebe_halliwell_13@yahoo.com),

We recently learned that someone was using an account to bid on items without the account owner's permission. For this reason, we have canceled all bids on the following listing:

250355581508 - IBM ThinkPad T60p Cor duo 2ghz 1gb ,100gb HD.VISTA 2632

All associated fees have been credited to your account. Please note that we're working with the account owner to prevent any additional unauthorized activity.

Unfortunately, we're not able to automatically relist the above item for you. To relist the item, you'll need to use either the Sell Your Item process on eBay, or another listing service.

If you have any concerns or questions, you can contact us by clicking "Help" at the top of any eBay page.

We're sorry for any inconvenience, and we thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely,

eBay Customer Support
