"HELP !" Volume Buttons, UP, DOWN and MUTE....

Can anyone please help, I have a G40 2388-3SG, the volume buttons do

not alter the volume. If enabled in BIOS they just 'beep' if pressed, if disabled

in BIOS they do nothing. Is there some software/driver I require, if so what ?

Where can I get it ? (on the other hand if anyone could send it to me I would

appreciate it..........

Thanks 'Blackstuff', but its a question of what software/driver.

I've updated to the latest BIOS, tried various audio and keyboard

drivers from Lenove with no success. I do not think it can be a

computer fault as I have two G40's (I think they are good, robust

laptops) and they both have the same problem.

Is there anybody on the 'Forum' that has a G40 and the buttons work ?
