Where to find firmware for ultrabay CD-RW/DVD drive?

Greetings! ThinkPad newbie here. I'm trying to find out if I have the latest firmware for the optical drive in the refurb T61 I purchased. The part is listed as

Mfg: 39T2733 Fru: 39T2685 "24/24/8/24X CD-RW/DVD COMBO II DRIVE"

Can someone help me track down the location of firmware updates?

What's the real brand and model no...? (You can check via Device Manager)
