Fingerprint software problem

Hi,

I have T60P, Window XP Pro SP3, Power ON password enable and no window login password.

I'm using the latest Fingerprint Software version 5.8.2 (upgraded from version 5.6). Now I can't lunch the ThinkPad Fingerprint Software control center launcher anymore. Every time I click on ThinkPad Fingerprint Software I get a split second window that is opening and then nothing. The only way I can access the control center is through Safe Mode but I can't change any setup. Furthermore, in Safe Mode I can not edit or add anything because the fingerprint sensor is not running.

From Bios I have put Fingerprint Senor to internal and still it doesn't work. In control Panel the Fingerprint Sensor works as well. I also went back to version 5.6 but same problem.

Right now, the sensor for Power On and Hibernation works i.e. I can use my finger on the sensor but I can not edit or add to the program anymore.

Any ideas?
