Problem with Access Connection 5.12

Quick question if there are others that have problem with the latest AC; in my case when trying to enable a connection profile I have problem accessing the net. Only way to get it to work is to upgrade or switch the drivers for the Intel wifi card and then after this little workaround I'm able to get AC to work. So before spending more time I just wanted to check if there are others that have had issues.

This is still unsolved on my side; so open question what version of AC + drivers other used or seems to be the versions to be used instead of 5.12 (tried also 5.21 - even worse result) to get AC to work proper on a X61 (7668-3JG) using XP Pro?
