Connecting Joystick or GamePad to 770z

I just got a 770z -and am glad to now have one- I just miss the midi/joystick port and cable connection like my 760xd has. Can anyone recommend ways to connect a game/midi port Joystick, and also to connect to Midi devices. Are there parallel/serial or usb adapters to convert like there are ps2 to usb plugs.
