Bluetooth hack for x60t
Bluetooth hack for x60t
I own an x60t, and I bought it like 2 years ago. In my lack of foresight, I decided to forgo the bluetooth option. Now I've bought a small bluetooth dongle, and it is wonderful. I've done a little research, and it seems that the small space for the bluetooth daughter-board is large enough for the dongle. Does anyone know if the port used for this board is USB? I know that the interface with the fingerprint scanner is USB because it stopped working, so I figured it was somewhat likely that the bluetooth was also USB. Does anyone know? Here are diagrams from the maintenance manual:

Re: Bluetooth hack for x60t
According to Device Manager, the Bluetooth module is connected via USB on the X61T. Think it applies to X60T as well.
You may have to hack the wiring through. Don't think they're using standard USB connectors there.
