T42 Problems

Hi All,

I have just joined this forum and this is my first post!

I have also just purchased my new T42 (2373-NUA) IBM laptop. I was a user of the T20 for nearly 4- 1/2 years!

I am kinda happy with this laptop, but I do have some gripes! I am noticing a very slight bluish tinge on the screen especially when the LCD brightness is set a 1 - 3. The keyboard bezel is a bit loose on the left hand side. And finally, the update connector (v6.1) seems to hang at around 66%! :(

Is there something I can do to rectify these irritating and nagging problems?

Thank you for your message.

Yes, I have a 14" screen. In my case, the keyboard bezel is in two parts unlike yours. The reason why I am concerned about the looseness of the bezel is becasue the T20 I had previously was very weak at these points and broke several times.
