More specifically, I have a question about an Ultrabay Li-Polymer battery that I purchase along with my T40. I just got off the phone with an IBM rep and he claimed that the bay battery warranties started from the date of manufacture of the battery and not from the date of sale, ergo the battery was out of warranty since before the day I bought it. Smells like BS to me. I thought that internal options inherited the warranty of the system.
Any thoughts?
