THINKPAD 380xd problem

#1 Post by daveb3650 » Wed Jan 19, 2005 6:17 pm

We had a one of these at work and the boss told me to sling it cos it couldnt be fixed.

Well, i took a chance and bought a new hard drive off ebay and it is working fine now.......well nearly..

I installed windows 98 on it but i dont have any of the drivers for the video card that is inside this machine.

The machine is working but has a 2 inch border all around cos i cant get me hands on the correct drivers.

I've tried Googling and have downloaded all sorts of things that do not work.

HAVE YOU GOT THE INSTALL CD ........PLZ PLZ help me

Thx

Here are all of the drivers for your system, particularly the video drivers, which will correct your video problem.

Shouldn't this be in a different part of the forum, Legacy Hardware would be more appropriate considering it does not look like anyone is looking to buy or sale anything here.

IBM's support site, you should be able to find all the drivers and information you'll need.

I checked out the above link, and I believe it does have all the files you need. Look for Video Drivers, toward the bottom of the screen, and then pick the file for WIN98.
