Hi guys.
I have a problem, my T43 wont start. If Im taking the battery and power supply out of the laptop, and installing the battery again, the battery indicator blinks once. The same thing happens if I plug the power supply in. If I try to hit the power button, nothing happens! So right now its totally dead. Normally if the battery and the power supply is connected, the battery indicator lights, but not anymore.
Have you guys heard about this problem before? And do you know what could be wrong?
Kind regards
Danster

Hi,
I guess there is something wrong with the charging electronics. But it is hard to guess from afar.
You should visit a IBM/Lenovo Service Partner wit your laptop.

Danster,
If your T43 is out of warranty (did you check that --> here), and if you don't find yourself comfortable with trying to repair it, I suggest you consider contacting forum-member jjames55 (Jesper James) who live in Borup (which is not far from Ringsted), and who repair many Thinkad's in Denmark... he is no doubt far, far cheaper compared to handing your T43 in to an authorized IBM-repairshop. Jesper has an add here here offering ThinkPad repair-service.
Good luck with helping your T43 back alive again!

Try putting pressure on your space bar. Does the screen come on?
You're video card could be flexed out of position.
You may need a new MOBO or you can attempt the reflow yourself.
