My T61P XP Pro crashed, so I decided to install windows server 2003 instead.
Now almost everything worked out straightforward except the power management drive.
I downloaded the most new power management driver from lenovo website, 7zu707ww.exe and 7zku53ww.exe of Jan 5 2009, but after many time's restarts, there is still no power meter at the task bar, nor anywhere to config the battery.
Can someone point me a previous driver location, or show me some clue why this new driver just doesn't work.
Thank you guys.
Edit: forgot to mention that I tried the XP version drivers, but no luck. Didn't try any other versions yet.

In case you are not aware, installing drivers downloaded from Lenovo's site is generally a two-step affair.
When you run the .exe download, that just installs files to directories under C:\Drivers\. From there you have to find the appropriate subdirectory and run Setup.exe (usually). You can click on the .xml file in each subdirectory of C:\Drivers\ to see which driver is in that directory.

Re: Appropriate power management driver for Windows server 2003?
Update:
I've finally installed the power management driver for Windows server 2003.
First I searched the internet and downloaded a pretty old 2004 version power meter, installed and worked out the box without a problem.
Then I downloaded and installed .net framework 3.5.
After this step the 2009 version power management driver could be installed and now is working good.
Thank you guys for your attention.
Edit: Sorry forgot to mention the installed 2009 version is for XP indeed.
