Video driver for Photoshop CS4 on T43p

Dear all,


When starting Photoshop CS4, I often get a message there is a problem with the video driver. This comes with the advice that it would need to be updated, but I am running the most recent version. Adobe mentions that it might be essential to inform the product manufacturer of this problem.
Does anyone have a similar problem ?
How and where do I contact Lenovo about this ? Their latest drivers is from 2007 ?

Just a question for clarification. Does Photoshop really complain about the video driver or about the monitor profile? I've never seen the former but the latter with Photoshop Elements on a couple of my Thinkpads. There seem to be quite a few solutions for the latter on google, among others this one.

Hi,

The monitor profile error I had in the past, but solved that one already.
The funny part is that it might be related to the type of profile, as I have photoshop crashing when run under a normal user or poweruser profile, while it works fine as administrator, and the same seems to apply to the video problem, as I just noticed. I will need some further testing though, but hopefully this also leads to a solution.
