Hej,
I updated my SL500 with Access Connections 5.12 and Power Manager 2 recently. Since then, the Windows icons for network and volume have disappeared. What's worse, they are greyed out when right-clicking the Taskbar and other tweaks I found here (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows- ... ows-vista/) didn't work, either. After a reboot, they were back, but are now gone again. What's happening, Lenovo? Since I did not install anything else for a week or so, I'm pretty sure it is related to the latest Lenovo update... could check by using system restore, but cannot be bothered at this stage.
Hope this can be sorted out with the next update...

Re: Windows icons have disappeared from System Tray after update
I have the newest Access Connections and Power Manager installed on my Vista 64-bit T61p and do no have that problem. I did the updates manually as I always do, so I can say it is not those two applications by themselves. Whether System Update caused you an issue I cannot say. ... JDH
