Wrong keyboard Hotkey Feature software level

I lost my green icons showing info when volume or Fn keys are pressed (Display intensity, sound up/down/mute).

When running Thinkvantage system update for a current Hotkey level (3.40.01), I get this message saying a newer version (5.03.00) is already installed and need to be removed from system first.

Looked in Windows add/remove programs but didn't see it there.
Any Suggestions?

Try to download it manually and see what happens. Maybe you should check before instalation if there are some files in C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY (or similar address)...

I downloaded the individual install, it offers to remove the current level, reboot, install new level.
Did that and got my green functions icons back.
