T42 CD-RW/DVD Drive Door issues

Hi,

I recently replaced the dead cd/dvd drive on my t42 with a cd-rw/dvd drive. It works fine, but I have a slight issue with the door on it. If I just press the button lightly, or when say I'm burning a cd and the cd burning program finishes and tries to eject, the door won't open. It makes a clicking noise. Usually three clicks, sometimes one click. It will open if I press lightly on the door while it's making these clicking noises. It will also open "in one go" if I press the button quite firmly.

It's not that big of a deal, but I'd like to figure out what the problem is.

Any thoughts?
