Is 1920x1080 a forceable VGA out resolution on the X61s?

That box won't take 1080p input - look at its specs.

Yeah I saw that in the specs but I was hoping you can force a 1080p output signal unless VGA can't handle that. In the customer reviews, someone was talking about that.

I've heard that Monoprice has a good return policy. While I've bought lots of stuff from them -- more than just cables -- I've never had to put their policy to the test. However, in this situation you might want to

I'm almost certain you can force the VGA output to 1080p - but I don't think that will help you with this converter box. I'm pretty sure I've done 1080p to a Samsung TV VGA input from my X61s. I know I've done it from my T42.
