Power Manager ignoring power schema changes

Hi,

after upgrading my TP X61 by System Update I have some strange issues with Power Manager.
My update installa history is here:


The problem I can't resolve is that Power Manager ignores my schema changes. For example - Maximum Performence is set, and even if I open Power Manager and select Maximum battery life and press Apply nothing happens (brightness doesn't change). When I reopen Pwoer Manager - MAximum Performence is still selected.

Obviously, I've reinstalled Power Manager and Power Mqnagment Drivers to older version but the problem stays. What's more interesting, when I go to Control Panel in Windows and change power schema in Power options , Power Manager see this, but of course nothing happens with brightness and other PM-dependent parameters.

Did you have such an issue? Please help.

My TP x61x after Power Manager upgrade forced me to restore all system from backup.
I have the same problem plus strange gauge troubles. It doesn't show ramaning battery time and I can't hide it.
After some reinstalls and reboots all system was down.
So I have my old PM, think I will upgrade to next version after backup all system.

Some additional information about my issue. I've found some interesting entry here.
In comments there is nice solution with cleaning registry and write predefined schemas again (search "11. comment posted by 1394" in above link). This made my Power Manager working much more stable, but it's still not ideal. Now I can switch between predefined schemas and even create my own. Unfortunately, I can't choose any of my self-created schema, it just ignores them. I can only choose one of these 4 predefined. So now, I'm using "Power source optimized" and everything seems to work much better.

Today I wanted to install Presentation director. System Update tool forced me to install latest "Power Managment Driver" (it's not the same as Power Maanger, do not mistake it!). I was really afraid but it still seems to work fine with Power Manager (version previous than latest - I don't know how to check the version number).

Summing up, it seems that new Power Manager is really buggy. If so, why only we do have this problem ?
