I have an extremely nice Apple PowerBook G4 that I would like to trade for a 14" (wide or regular) T60, T61, R60 or R61. I don't really care about configuration so long as it has excellent cosmetics and screen.
My PowerBook is the 1.0 GHz PowerPC G4 model and is running the latest and greatest OS X 10.5.6 Leopard operating system, including Apple's famous iLife applications. The system is absolutely topped out in configuration, with 1.25GB of RAM (plenty for OS X), a 120GB 5400 RPM hard drive, Bluetooth, A/B/G wireless (Atheros) and an 8X dual-layer DVD-RW drive (slot-loading, of course).
The aluminum case is in outstanding condition with a few minor scratches and an extremely minor indentation on the left rear side, next to the power connector. The indentation is almost impossible to see unless you are looking for it, leaving about the cleanest 12" PowerBook you will find anywhere. Keyboard, case, screen and everything else is in near mint condition.
Comes with the original battery that powers the machine for 2:45 or so, and a new battery that powers the machine for over 4 hours. Also included is the original AC adapter and a spare from an older PowerBook that is fully compatible and in perfect working condition. You get two strong batteries and two ac adapters, making this a very complete travel package.
This is an extremely small machine that weighs only 4.6 lbs, sleeps and wakes instantly and reliably, and otherwise offers all of the benefits of the Macintosh platform. In addition, it will also run any PowerPC version of Linux if you decide that OS X isn't for you. It is too modern to run OS 9.
If you've wanted to play around with a Mac, this is a great chance to do so for the cost of a low-end used ThinkPad. I'll even throw in a license for Microsoft Office 2004 Mac Edition, which like Office 2003 for Windows, can be patched to read and write the new XML file formats and works with regular POP3 and IMAP email as well as Microsoft Exchange.
Your ThinkPad should be in very good to perfect cosmetic condition and have no screen defects or hardware issues. I don't care about processor speed, RAM or hard drive, as long as it has enough to boot Windows XP or Windows 2000. I would prefer G wireless and Bluetooth, but these are not essential. This machine will be used strictly for computer-based testing (Examsoft).
I would also sell the PowerBook for $400 shipped in the continental USA.

"An atheist is just somebody who feels about Yahweh the way any decent Christian feels about Thor or Baal or the golden calf. As has been said before, we are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further."
