My rescue and recovery partition is currently visible as a FAT32 partition under fdisk and Windows. I would like to restore it back to a hidden partition (non-dos under fdisk) by restoring the original MBR back (the MBR has been modified).
Is there a simple utility to do this? Or is recovering the entire system the only way?
Are the original MBRs available anywhere? I have an r50e and r51.
Thanks for any tips!
Easy way to restore original MBR?
Re: Easy way to restore original MBR?
What operating system are you running, and how was the hidden partition made visible? What do you mean by modified?grue wrote:My rescue and recovery partition is currently visible as a FAT32 partition under fdisk and Windows.
