SATA HD Bay for Ultrabase

#1 Post by ComputerMinder » Fri Jan 30, 2009 2:20 pm

I have X61s with Ultrabase.
I wish to upgrade to an X200s with Ultrabase.

I have a 40Y8725 which is a SATA HD drawer bay for the Ultrabase so I can use an additional SATA drive. I am just wondering if that part number will work with the X200 Ultrabase? Or did they change that part number as well ?

Thanks

AFAIK, its highly unlikely that it will work.

The X200 Ultrabase bay has an internal connector that is different than any of the previous bases, none of the older adapters or drives will work.
