I recently purchased a brand new x200 tablet. Soon after it arrived, one of the USB ports failed (front, right). I sent it back for repairs and was told they changed out the entire motherboard to resove the issue. When I received my computer, I found that the port was working fine.
Now, two weeks later, the exact same USB port has failed again. I called Lenovo and was told they would have to change the motherboard again.
I have owned many, many laptops previously (including Thinkpads) without any issues. I must say, it is quite aggravating to have to always send my computer in for repair, as it means I have to transfer all my data and programs to another computer to use, then transfer it back again.
And what concerns me the most is that their seems to be no solution to this USB port issue. Should I just leave it be and use the computer minus one USB port?
