My wireless turns on automatically when I boot up my T41p. When I first got it I seem to remember that I had to turn it on manually. I had to re-load the wireless driver and it it seems to have started happening since then. Does anyone know how to revert to manual start-up for this device?

Turn WiFi off manually before you shutdown your T41p the next time.

Should still be off the next time you restart.

I tried that and it still automatically re-starts when I switch it back on.

Look in IBM Access Connections, there is a checkbox somewhere ("use this profile on boot" or so)

I went to Manage Location Profiles / edit / wireless / edit wireless settings and I ticked the box 'Use this profile to connect during Windows log on'....but this had no effect.
