X21 SVGA lcd replacement with X22 XGA lcd;possible?how do it

hallo
i have a X21 with a svga 800x600 lcd screen; i found a cheap XGA 1028x768 lcd screen for X22 on ebay;
can i replace my svga screen with the xga screen of a X22? what i have to do? would i have some issue after it? :?:

You'd need a new LCD bezel and cable.

Having said that the XGA screen for X20/X21 and X22/23/24 are different FRUs.
W520, X301, T500, (past X61( SXGA+),T42P,SL500, A31, R52, T42,X32(SXGA+), T40P,A31P, A21P, 770Z)

Chances are that the swap won't work...

If I remember correctly, motherboard type on these machines is tied to the screen resolution...

Sounds similar to the SXGA+ in a X31 issue :o
