How to get T61 serial number when sticker is missing

A bit of a tough question here, the sticker on my T61 is missing, and the motherboard was replaced so the serial number is missing in the bios as well. Is there any other way to get it? Is it printed somewhere else?

Assuming that you bought the system new, your sales documentation and/or shipping box should have the serial number on it somewhere. If you obtained the system second-hand, then I don't know of any other way of getting the S/N. I believe that any of the IBM or Lenovo utility software which reports such information will read it out of the BIOS.

Lenovo System Toolbox will show you your model number, serial number and warranty status on the top of the welcome screen
