Description: Under Vista x64, when exiting ICQ, ICQ stops responding, which produces the usual Vista prompt (can become very annoying over time).
Vista suggests to download the latest Adobe Flash version from Adobe. Unfortunately, manually downloading and installing it doesn´t resolve the issue.
For those of you who experience the issue here is the "tricky" solution:
For some time now I don´t use IE anymore as my default browser, actually I don´t use it at all, I use FF3 which anyways works good with the latest Flash releases for Vista x64. Thus I have never thought of trying to install Adobe Flash ActiveX within IE. All that time I have been experiencing the annoying prompt when shutting down ICQ. As already stated, manual download and install of Adobe Flash didn´t resolve the issue for me. But most surpisingly, installing Adobe Flash ActiveX component within IE 7 solved the issue. I was also able to reproduce the problem and its solution, so I believe it wasn´t a coincidence.
Hope this helps to those who are experiencing the same problem
