Yesterday I had the T43 in my hands, among about 15 Sonoma notebooks that were on display during an Intel presentation event.

I could not see any difference to the common T42.
Unfortunately the notebooks were not turned on (no battery).

So I guess, only the motherboard has changed, the rest is the same.
An Intel guy (with some knowledge on IBM) said, that the next really major change would be with the intriduction of the Yonah chips with dual cores.

In conclusion, the T43 and T42 look identical.
