Hi,

My thinkPad is T60p and i cant conect my external display.
My LCD is turning off but on my ehternal display - nothing.
With Presentation director is the same - black screen on both of them .
Tried diferent external display and the result is the same.
Tried backup with windows wich i am sure is working but nothing. Tried clean installation the same.
Restart bios to default settings - the same.
In bios there is an option to choose devices to boot (Thinkpad LCD, VGA, DVI ...)
When i choos VGA - nothing again

If you hit fn-F7 on the keyboard, it should allow you to switch to external LCD. Try it a few times. Also I'd uninstall presentation manager unless you use it.

Try turning your computer off, connect the external display, turn the display on, then power up your computer. Do you see anything on the display while the computer is booting? If not, either your display cable is defective, your display is defective, or your computer display's VGA port is defective. You are using a 15-pin VGA connection aren't you?

Tried all of this 2 monitors, 1 TV, all display options in BIOS and nothing. During boot there is nothing.
