Need source for AC adapter and plug for T60p

There are some on Amazon and Ebay but I don't know if it is ok to use a third party adapter. Can anyone recommend a source for a good charger.

There's no need to buy third-party adapters and gamble that they'll work. You can buy new genuine Lenovo adapters from lenovo.com. You can also buy new and used Lenovo/IBM adapters on eBay.

why spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a Thinkpad and then be skimpy on a part that might have serious safety implications?
