Differences between a T41 and a T41p?

Differences between the top-of-the-line T41 (23739FU) and the top-of-the-line T41p (2373GEU) are:

T41p has the ATI Mobility FireGL T2 128mb Video Card
T41 has the ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 32mb Video Card

T41p has the 9-Cell Extended Lithium Ion Battery
T41 has the 6-Cell Lithium Ion Battery

That's about it. There may be a difference with the cooling fan, but specs wise the two units are otherwise identical (same CPU, same RAM, same HDD, same optical, same WiFi).

The differences between the T42 and T42p are much more complicated, but in summary:

T42 has the ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 (32mb), ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 (64mb, rare, only a few models), or ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 (64mb) Video Card
T42p has the ATI FireGL T2 128mb Video Card

T42 has the 14.1" XGA 1024x768 LCD, 14.1" SXGA+ 1400x1050 LCD, 15" XGA 1024x768 LCD, or 15" SXGA+ 1400x1050 FlexView LCD
T42p has the 14.1" SXGA+ 1400x1050 LCD, or 15" UXGA 1600x1200 FlexView LCD
(and before anyone asks, NO there is not a 14.1" FlexView screen despite what the IBM website says)

T42 has the 30gb 4200rpm, 40gb 5400rpm, 60gb 7200rpm (rare, only a few models), or 80gb 5400rpm hard drive
T42p has the 60gb 7200rpm, or 80gb 5400rpm (rare, only a few models) hard drive

T42 has the 6-cell lithium ion battery
T42p has the 6-cell lithium ion battery (rare, only a few models), or 9-cell extended lithium ion battery

T42 has 256mb, 512mb, or 1024mb (rare, only a few models) RAM
T42p has 512mb (rare, only a few models), or 1024mb RAM

T42 has the Pentium M 1.5ghz CPU, Pentium M 725 1.6ghz CPU, Pentium M 735 1.7ghz CPU, or Pentium M 745 1.8ghz CPU
T42p has the Pentium M 745 1.8ghz CPU, Pentium M 755 2.0ghz CPU, or Pentium M 765 2.1ghz CPU

All other options (wireless card, optical drive, fingerprint reader, bluetooth) are generally available in similar combinations on both T42 and T42p. For specific configurations, refer to the TABOOK:

T41p has a 7200 rpm HDD, while ones without 'p' dont.

u see a huge performance difference.

The T41 23739FU also has the 60gb 7200rpm drive. The 60gb 5400rpm drive was just introduced in the T43 (rare, only a few models).
