I have bought a new T43 on ebay. Everything is ok with the notebook except, that it has an NMI parity error. After some tests it turned out that the NMI parity BSOD is caused by the Broadcom ethernet controller. When I disable it in BIOS, there's no parity error. I have found in the following topic that I am not the one with this failure.

Is it possible that this failure is caused by a cracked BGA joint under the Broadcom chip? Or maybe the Southbridge chip?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Additional info: The failure is intermittent, BSOD comes only after resume from standby, or when I try to run the diagnostic software from Broadcom.
