x200 tablet rotation - fuzzy fonts

I've noticed that when my x200 tablet display is rotated 90, 180 or 270 degrees from normal the text is quite fuzzy - it appears perfectly normal in the standard position. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is this just an issue with the Intel graphics driver? I almost never use the machine in tablet mode (just bought it for the IPS + LED combo) so it's not a huge issue. In its unrotated state, the display is gorgeous - I can't even stand to use my UXGA Flexview t42p now, even though I am not definitely not a fan of WXGA.
